Last Week

This past week was filled with fun times. Anna Claire is officially crawling. Super cute! She is so curious! I have a feeling that it will not be long before she starts walking. She has gone from crawling to constantly pulling up on furniture and the fireplace. We are going to have to buy a cover for the fireplace. It is a little scary! This past week Anna Claire was able to spend some good quality time with all of her Grand people. On Wednesday she stayed with Nana ( Judy-Robb's mom) while we worked. They had a great time! Wednesday night Grandmother, Granddaddy, and Uncle Jonathan came up for a visit ( my parents and brother) We had a blast eating stuffed bellpeppers and then playing dominoes. There was some fierce competition. Anna Claire stayed home on Thursday and Friday with them. She blessed them with a great blow out diaper and had fun playing all day. Anna Claire attended her first movie on Friday night. She went with all of us to Fire Proof. Her eyes were huge as she tried to take it all in. She and grandmother went out after the first 1o minutes. I am sure everyone in the theater was glad of that. We took her yardsale shopping and enjoyed watching the Alabama/ Georgia game. Roll Tide!!

A long Summer's Break

It has been a busy summer!! One that left little time for keeping this up to date. However, I will try to do better now that life is getting into some sort of routine. Since Mother's Day we have moved back to Cleveland. This has been great! Anna Claire is able to see all of her family so much more! I am thankful that God opened the door for this to happen. We have had many first! The first time for Anna Claire to go swimming. The first time for her to go camping. The first time for her to say "Mamma" (July 5th) and "Dadda" (Aug 5th).Her first time to meet her great grandmother (Omi) and great grandfather (PawPaw). Her first 2 teeth. - These popped out while we were visiting Grandmother ,Grandaddy, and Uncle Jonathan. ( My parents) This was not a super fun experience but could have been a lot worse! She now sits on her own. Eats solid foods like a champ! And likes her new room that she has all by herself. Anna Claire is sooo expressive! I love playing with her and seeing her grow. It is hard to believe that she is a little over 8 months old. Here are a couple of pictures of the fun we have been having.

New Stuff

Anna Claire rolled over for the first time yesterday. It was very exciting!!! Robb and I both cheered her on. It is amazing to think about something so seemingly easy to me taking so much effort. She also recently has found her feet. She is so fun right now. We have to find our camera cord and then I will post some more pictures. We have several that are super cute!

New Things

Two new things happened yesterday. Anna Claire reached out to interact with her toys for the first time and she slept through the night 8pm-4am. She woke up, ate and then went back to sleep until 7:00am. I think she is getting pretty worn out at daycare. When I am in there she is always looking all around and watching the other babies. She has already charmed the workers. They all think she is so cute and love her man sized burps. I am glad she seems happy in her new daily setting.

1st Easter Pictures

She was not too sure about dressing up. By the time we had the hose , the necklace, the slip, the dress, the shoes, and the headband on, she was not the most happy of campers. Everyone at church did love how cute she looked ( she was pretty happy there). The picture right above the family picture is one where she has had enough of being dressed up and was screaming; she was very happy to have the clothes taken off! I am glad she does not have to dress up like that every Sunday. It was a lot of work to look cute- which she was!

2 Month Check Up

On Tuesday Anna Claire had her 2 month check up. She is doing great. She weighed 10 lbs 7 ounces and is 24 inches long. The Dr was very pleased with her growth and health. We had a good time talking with the Dr. and Anna Claire was all smiles. The smiles ended though when the vaccines began. It was SO sad and hard to watch! She had to get 6 shots, 3 in each little leg. Robb and I both teared up! She really has not dealt with a lot of pain in life and it was hard to see her surprise at the pain. We quickly gave her Tylenol and did everything we could to help reduce any pain throughout the day. It was not a good day!! 3 days later; she is now back to her normal self and enjoying life.
